Ste.Anne's Spa

Yesterday I had the opportunity to feel like royalty myself! Along with three lovely ladies, we booked an entire day at Ste. Anne's Spa in Grafton, ON. As you drive up the gravel road and the 'castle' comes into sight, you can already feel your body starting to relax. Especially after you sign in and receive your white robe and are given a tour of the grounds. We took full advantage of the natural spring pools, the eucalyptus steam room, wellness activities (our leisurely walk to visit the wild mustangs was well worth it!), and the other wonderful amenities that Ste. Anne's has to offer. In the afternoon we had our treatments, and I experienced the "Caribbean Therapy". It was my first time being wrapped in seaweed and it was amazing! I am pretty sure that I dozed off on the table and could have spent the entire night there on the heated massage table. I highly recommend going there for at least a day, and plan on spending a night there the next time I go. What a nice Mother's Day treat :)

Queen for a Day!

I was honoured to be a part of MYFM's Mother's Day radio contest "Queen for a Day" where mom's were nominated to win a day full of pampering! I met up with Angela (the Queen) at Hooked on Hair and watched as she received the royal treatment. The winning package included breakfast, shopping, lunch, spa treatments, etc... etc... etc! After she had her hair and make-up done, she was escorted back to her luxury vehicle and headed to change into a dressy outfit, then made her way to the Loyalist Golf & Country Club where we took some time for a photo shoot. The Queen looked fabulous and you could tell she felt like royalty! Thanks to MYFM for involving me in such a great contest!

Anna & Mike are expecting their first baby very soon, and I was so happy to be able to capture memories for them before the little one arrives. We can't wait to meet him/her and we know you will make wonderful parents!

Upcoming Marriage

Congratulations to Sarah & Jeff on their upcoming marriage! It was nice to have them in the studio for some engagement photos, and I hope the planning for the 'big day' continues to go smoothly!

Tulip Season

I contacted the owner's of Nyman Gardens in Bloomfield (191 Main St.) and will be taking photos there instead of Churchhill Park in Kingston. The sessions will take place on Saturday May 9th (just in time for Mother's Day!), from 10-4pm and Sunday May 17th from 10-4pm. Please email me at info@jenfitzphotography.com if you are interested in having your child/family photo taken at these beautiful tulip gardens! The sessions will be approx 20-30 min and are $50 (tax incl.). Cash is acceptable, as well as cheques made out to: Jen Fitzpatrick. I will mail or deliver your CD to your address with your photos and copyright release, where you can have your photos developed anywhere. Thank you and I look forward to hearing from you :)

Happy Easter!

It has been a very busy year thus far! We had our baby in December, and went to Florida last month to be married, and are planning a reception for June... and so on! I will be taking photos in Kingston this Spring at Churchill Park (685 Brock St.) when the tulips are in bloom, and will offer a $50 photo session (approx 30 mins) for your child/family. Happy New Year!

Wishing everyone a Happy New Year and all the best in 2009! We had the most amazing Christmas ever, as we were able to bring home our new baby Griffin on Christmas day :) It was an incredible gift I must say!
